Poland is a town in Chautauqua County, New York, with a population of 2,467. The town was first settled in 1804. The early economy was based on forestry, but after the trees were cut down, agriculture dominated.
The Southern Tier Expressway passes across the northern part of the town. US Route 62 and NYS Route 394 also pass through the town.
